Bigfoot Services Limited was created in 2003 to offer a wide range of worldwide training and adventures which can be viewed below.

All of our activities are registered with our ISO9001:2008 registration and assessment and our clients include outdoor professionals and enthusiasts alike from all over the world and we have a proven reputation for managing private and corporate – activities in the outdoor sector.

Alan Ward is a full member of the Mountain Training Association (MTA 9325), the British Mountaineering Council (BMC B523903) and the British Association of International Mountain Leaders (BAIML 4594) and holds appropriate insurance for all activities

Services include:

Rescue Emergency Care and Remote Emergency Care Outdoor First Aid courses are available every six weeks in the Brecon Beacons - courses are particularly relevant to outdoor enthusiasts and professionals employed in the outdoor sector. The standard 16hr course is available on a regular basis in the Brecon Beacons and South Wales. Outdoor based HSE EFAW and FAW courses are also available on request. REC Level 4 Expedition First Aid and High Altitude First Aid courses are also available. Courses use high quality training equipment from Laerdal (CPR training) and Cardiac Science (AED training.) Several of these courses were offered free of charge to the Admin. Team and members receive a discount when booking on a course.

British Heart Foundation Heartstart (ELS) courses are available to members free of charge for those wishing to gain an insight into Emergency Life Support and all that is required is a suitable venue. In 2014 Alan received the BHF Heart Hero Award Wales for his services in delivering high quality CPR training to community groups in Wales

Mountain Training courses include: Hill Skills - Mountain Skills - Lowland Leader Award - Hill and Moorland Award - Expedition Skills

National Navigation Award Scheme courses include: Bronze - Silver - Gold Training and Assessment and the new NNAS Tutor Award for those wishing to teach navigation independently or within the NNAS framework of courses.

Royal Geographical Society Off Site Safety Management course - includes workshops on the adventure travel standard BS8848:2014.

Institute of Occupational Safety and Health courses include Working Safely and Managing Safely.

Treks and Expeditions for 2018 include Mt Toubkal (4,167m) on February 18th and Kilimanjaro (XL) (5,895m) on August 1st.
