If you fancy something a bit different for your walking trip accommodation, at Kite Hill Yurts we can offer you Curlew and Skylark, two authentic Mongolian Yurts with wood burning stoves, perched on a hillside high over the Wye Valley between Brecon and Builth Wells with stunning views over the Black Mountains.
With fully equipped kitchens and private compost toilets, both yurts sleep up to five and have great views from the decks and beautiful walks straight from the gate out onto 5,000 acres of wild moorland. The Wye Valley Way goes right past the gate.
Brecon, Hay on Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park are all within easy striking distance or just sit on the deck and watch the kites circling overhead or, once the sun has set, sit round the fire and look for shooting stars.
We are both keen walkers and very happy to do what we can to accommodate walkers and their needs but sorry, no dogs.
